![]() necromancy you will keep up until you get to the last boss NOT HotK, im talking about the final boss in 5bc. dead inside is just a must throughout the whole run more health + more infection tolerance. so up until you get to the time keeper you'll want to have dead inside, necromancy, and acceptance. Mutations: so you'll have to reset your mutations 3 times at different points so you need to make sure you have enough gold for this. i would recommend 2 powerful grenades, but if you are inexperienced (not good at dodging and parrying) and still take too many unnecessary hits, you'll want the tonic to avoid damage/heal yourself up. you always need to run at least 1 powerful grenade because with the mob density in 4bc+ you will get swarmed. pair this with a giant killer that has the "slows nearby enemies down when you kill one" and you can almost always avoid taking damage while massacring everything in your path. But more importantly for standard enemies, you can cancel them out of their attack by "tackling" them with the shield rush (thats pretty huge). while you can use any shield, i recommend the assault shield mostly because it lets you rush through levels and gives you extra jump distance. elites you should almost always try to kill for the amus/gold. mutations after time keeper: emergency triage, necromancy, dead inside.Įquipment: giant killer is just too damn good for bosses, which will really be the major blockers to whether you progress or not in the end. mutations up until you get to the time keeper: acceptance, dead inside, necromancy. equipment will be giant killer, assault shield (or whatever your preferred shield is) and powerful grenades + tonic. best build/most forgiving build - survival of course.you get healing and you get a shield that makes you invincible for a few seconds so you can dish out major damage without having to worry about taking any. specifically youll want to have a tonic on you for the boss fights. Why? you barely get any healing at the highest level and have to deal with malaise. So the most helpful tip i found that is barely mentioned on here is: ill be sharing my experience and what i think are the best ways to obtain and beat 5 bc and of course this will work for lower difficulties too. so i had a lot to learn and get used to the hard way. ![]() so arbiters, failed experiments, knife throwers, etc didn't exist back when i beat 4bc. So ive managed to obtain and beat 5bc within a few days of coming back to dead cells for the RotG patch after a long time not playing. ![]()
